A Force for Tenants and Women’s Equality
LAS VEGAS, NV — November 26,2018 – Cushman & Wakefield Senior Associate Tenant Advisory Group, and Commercial Real Estate for Women (CREW) Las Vegas President, Natalie Wainwright, has been named as one of Connect Media’s National 2018 Next Generation Award Winners for her work to create equality for women in the commercial real estate space, as well as giving back to her own Las Vegas community. Connect Media’s second annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
Specializing in corporate real estate and not-for-profit clients by representing tenants in the leasing and purchasing of office space, Wainwright is known for her out-of-the-box thinking, depth of market knowledge and high level of customer service and strong negotiating skills.
“Receiving the Connect Media Award is such an honor for so many reasons,” says Wainwright. “Most importantly, the personal phone calls and letters I’ve received from single moms and women in similar situations that needed to know it was possible to achieve their dreams and anything they want in this life.”
When she’s not filling buildings with new tenants, she’s rocking the Las Vegas airwaves as co-host of her own radio show with Cushman & Wakefield co-pilot, Dan Palmeri, on “The Morning Hustle, ” mentoring newcomers in the industry, and surrounding herself with some of Las Vegas’ most successful women in business.
“Natalie represents the best of the future of commercial real estate, with her passion and talent that is a positive disruption a in the Las Vegas market,” says Cushman & Wakefield Nevada Managing Principal, Christina Roush.
As the current president of CREW Las Vegas, Wainwright encourages women to step outside of their comfort zone daily, and “walks the talk” as a single mother of two. She recently decided to establish herself as a nonprofit expert, realizing how much she can give back to organizations in her capacity as their broker, and understanding that every dollar saved in leasing negotiations goes back to the organization’s cause. Accordingly, she has collaborated with local vendors, contractors and landlords to also give back to these organizations in the way of free supplies, labor and construction.
Wainwright will be honored this week at Connect Media’s Westside event in Los Angeles.
